Control and prevention

CONTROL OF AERAULIC INSTALLATIONS

In work rooms, ventilation is a means of prevention to reduce the exposure of employees to pollutants. The air is renewed so that:

  • A state of purity of the atmosphere to preserve the health of workers is maintained
  • Excessive temperature rises, unpleasant odours and condensation are avoided.

In addition, in France, since October 9, 1987, the regulations regarding ventilation and sanitation oblige the employer to keep all of its facilities in good condition and to regularly monitor them (L. Code, art. R. 4222-20 and following).

MEASURES AND CONTROLS PRESCRIBED BY THE DECREE OF OCTOBER 9, 1987

TYPE OF POLLUTION

MEASURES AND CONTROLS

PREMISES WITH NON-SPECIFIC POLLUTION

  • Measurement of air flow and in particular of fresh air flow
  • Control of filters
  • Situation of fresh air intakes
  • Measurement of static pressures or air speed associated with air flows to establish or control reference values
  • LOCALS WITH SPECIFIC POLLUTION
  • Measurement of air flow and in particular of fresh air flow
  • Control of filters
  • Situation of fresh air intakes
  • Measurement of static pressures or air speed associated with air flows to establish or control reference values
  • Measurement of the capture efficiency of each device
  • Measurement of total and alveolar dust concentrations representative of employees’ exposure
  • Measurement of static pressures or air speeds associated with air flows or with capture efficiencies to establish or control reference values
  • Measurements of pollutant concentration (representative of employees’ exposure) subject to regulatory limit values

When the air is recycled

  • Measurement of the purification efficiency and, in the case of dust, of the efficiency by particle size ranges
  • Control of dust collector filters or scrubbers and monitoring systems

This mandatory control once a year is therefore part of a regulatory framework linked to the global management of pollutants present in the atmosphere of workplaces. In this context STIVENT INDUSTRIE® assists you and carries out the monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of your equipment. To ensure that protection is maintained over time for your installation and to guarantee its performance, we offer you a personalised preventive maintenance contract. All observations and measurement results are recorded in the installation folder in order to comply with CARSAT requirements.

We also remain on standby on all regulations and obligations regarding aeraulic installation. Thus, in the event of evolution, we will be able to keep you informed.

For any question on the control and prevention of your installations, contact us on (+33) 05 49 50 41 91 or via our contact form.
